Guilin Day 1

Our internet connection at this hotel is not the best, but I will see if I can upload some things today. We arrived in Guilin about 9:30 am. My student Gracy arranged a taxi to pick us up and take us to the Eva Inn Hotel. We went for a walk to see what was near the hotel, and we appear to have a good location, the sun and moon pagodas are near and the walking street is very close. In the evening we went on a boat ride thru the city. The city has built itself in the scenery very well.

 These 2 are performances we watched from the evening boat tour of four lakes in the middle of town.
