YaoZhou Kiln Museum

On March 23 the University took us to the YaoZhou Kiln Museum near ChenLu that I posted about a month ago. This is a museum about the pottery/ceramic industry in the area that has been going on for a couple of thousand years. We were not allow to take pictures inside the museum. I wandered out of the museum early to change the batteries in my camera. When I was taking a picture to test the batteries, this old guard came up to me said something in Chinese, took me by the hand and led me behind the museum. He wanted to show off my belly to all the employees in the workshops in the back. No one else got this private tour to the off limit places at the museum except me and my big belly!

When I wandered outside this gentleman came up to me, patted my belly said something in Chinese and took my hand an gave me a tour of the back where they are making pottery/ceramics. Special tour because of a big belly!
